SOCPAC commander visits Air Commandos

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airman 1st Class Matthew Punches, 353rd Maintenance Squadron, briefs Maj. Gen. Salvatore Cambria, the commander of Special Operations Command, Pacific, here May 13 on renovations made to upgrade a dayroom in the 353rd Special Operations Group dormitory into a movie room. During his final visit to the group in his current position, the general briefed the Air Commandos of the 353rd SOG on the mission and challenges his command faces in the region. The general thanked the men and women assigned to the group for being a critical component of his command and carrying out their mission even though they faced many difficult challenges.
